Plan your trip
Welcome to Miramichi! Here is some helpful information to assist you in planning your travel and stay for our wedding.
In 1995 Miramichi became a city when the towns of Chatham and Newcastle, along with several villages like Douglastown, Loggieville, and Nelson, were forcibly amalgamated into a single municipality. To this day there is a rivalry between the North and South sides of the river. Robert and Cori generally enjoy the whole city, but we live in "Chatham" on the South side of the river and are particularly fond of the waterfront and general calm feeling of the south side.

Hotel Recommendations
For your convenience, there are several hotels in the Miramichi area. We especially recommend the Rodd Miramichi, which is the closest to our house and the Miramichi Golf and CountryClub.

Getting around
Miramichi is easy to navigate
by car. You will likely want to rent a car as it's a bit of a drive from the closest airport in Moncton, NB.
